During the process of evaluation of a new applicant tracking system the HRIS teams discovered that existing applicant data could be found in no fewer than 5 distinct legacy ATS systems; Docusign, Tracker, HireRight, Sterling, and ICIMS. There were more than 2 million records of varying kinds stored in these systems. The cost to maintain these systems was exorbitant. No single technical resource within the company had the technical expertise to access the data, much less migrate it. Sykes engaged Positronic to recover custody of their legacy HR data.
During a 6 month migration, Positronic operated on behalf of the Client to facilitate the complete transfer of all legacy applicant records and related documents held by these disparate providers into the Client’s custody. Positronic architected and implemented a Data Lake solution in Azure that provides full natural language search capabilities for all of this data at once.
